Getting a DFMD to work well
Zone count decides how precisely the detector shows where metal is on a person. More zones help guards check quickly without a full pat-down, which matters at busy entries.
Placement matters as much as the model. Large metal structures, motors and heavy electrical cables near the frame cause false alarms, so we check the spot before installing and calibrate on site.
Sensitivity is a balance: high enough to catch what you are screening for, low enough that belts, keys and shoe shanks do not stop every visitor. We set it with your security team and show them how to adjust it.

How many zones should a door frame metal detector have?
For basic screening, fewer zones may be enough. For refineries, offices and busy entries, multi-zone models help guards locate the item quickly. We recommend a zone count based on your site and traffic.
Can it be used outdoors?
Some models are built for outdoor or semi-covered use. Tell us the location and we will suggest a suitable model and any shelter needed.
Can we buy DFMDs through GeM?
Yes. We are a registered GeM seller and also supply against tenders and direct purchase orders.
Do you provide hand-held detectors as well?
Yes, and we recommend them alongside every DFMD for secondary checks.
