Boom barriers, turnstiles and bollards

Control who drives in, who walks in and when. We supply and install vehicle and pedestrian entrance systems for plants, campuses, offices, hospitals and parking areas, and connect them to RFID, biometric or ANPR identification where needed.

Entrance control we supply and install

Boom barriers

For factory gates, campus entries, toll-style lanes and parking, opened by remote, push button, RFID tag or number-plate recognition.

Tripod turnstiles

Waist-high pedestrian control for staff entries, often paired with biometric or card readers.

Flap and swing barriers

Faster, more open lanes for lobbies and offices, with a wider swing lane for wheelchairs and goods.

Hydraulic and manual bollards

Rising or fixed bollards for high-security entries and to stop unauthorised vehicles.

UHF RFID readers

Long-range tags on windscreens so authorised vehicles pass without stopping.

ANPR cameras

Number-plate recognition that logs every vehicle and can open the barrier for listed plates.

Choosing the right barrier

Start with the traffic. A gate that opens a few dozen times a day can use a standard barrier; a busy parking entry or plant gate needs a high-duty motor rated for continuous operation.

Lane width sets the arm length, and low ceilings in basements may need an articulated arm. For safety, we recommend a loop detector or photo sensor so the arm cannot come down on a vehicle, and backup power so the gate does not trap traffic during a power cut.

For pedestrians, tripod turnstiles are the economical choice for staff entries, while flap and swing barriers suit lobbies where appearance and speed matter. Fire exits must stay free: entrance control should never block an emergency route.

What you get from us

  • Lane-by-lane recommendation after survey
  • Civil work coordination and cable laying
  • Safety sensors so arms cannot close on vehicles
  • Integration with RFID, ANPR or attendance systems
  • Training for security staff and AMC

Related services

How do authorised vehicles open the barrier automatically?

With UHF RFID tags on the windscreen read from a distance, or with ANPR cameras that recognise listed number plates. Visitors can be let in by the guard with a remote or push button.

What happens during a power cut?

We recommend a battery backup or UPS for the barrier controller. Most barriers can also be lifted manually.

Can turnstiles record staff attendance?

Yes. Turnstiles can be linked with biometric or card readers so entry is allowed only to registered staff and every entry is logged.

Do you handle the civil work?

We mark the foundation and cable ducts and coordinate with your civil contractor, or arrange it as part of the job.
